NIGEL HUMPHREYS

DIRECTOR OF STUDIES

Nigel is a qualified management trainer and has over thirty years’ experience of working in the resilience sector. As Director of Studies he leads on programme development & delivery.

Previously he worked full-time for the Home Office (London) on mass fatalities planning arrangements for the UK whilst providing national guidance to many agencies on emergency procedures, interoperability, business continuity management and disaster victim identification.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development with qualifications in teaching, emergency planning, health & safety, business continuity and disaster victim identification.

Nigel is a graduate of the University of Hull and the University of Dundee.

JULIE BELL

OFFICE MANAGER AND HEAD OF QUALITY

Julie is a qualified adult teacher and healthcare professional, having worked in the healthcare sector and the emergency services since 1976.

As Head of Quality she is responsible for ensuring the quality of programmes and outcomes for learners meets the standards set by the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) and Skills 2 Share internal quality assurance processes. Julie is also responsible for the smooth running of the office ensuring excellent customer service at all times.

Julie has an MBA and is a Chartered Manager and Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute with qualifications in teaching and business continuity.

She is a graduate of the Universities of Hudderfield,Teesside,York and Wales.

SAMUEL ALLAN

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Sam works part-time as the office assistant dealing with customer enquiries and the registration of learners on ILM courses. He deals with risk assessments and evaluations for all courses.

Sam is a postgraduate student of the University of Warwick.
