Emergency Planning, Emergency Management & Loggist Training

The risks that the UK faces are continually changing; risks emerge, threats evolve and our ability to respond to the disruptive challenges we face needs to continually improve.

The Civil Contingencies Act 2004 has placed these matters high on the agenda of local authorities, health services, emergency services and utility companies.

Skills 2 Share offer a unique range of courses and qualifications in emergency planning and emergency management that will demonstrate you have achieved a high level of skill and knowledge in these areas.

We also deliver training for loggists and since 2010 we have trained (and qualified) over 150 loggists. Loggist training courses can be provided with or without the BTEC Award.

We are accredited with Edexcel, the leading national qualifications provider, endorsed by the Emergency Planning Society (EPS) and a registered learning provider under the Ministry of Defence (MOD) Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) Scheme.

Our qualifications are based on the Civil Contingencies National Occupational Standards (NOS) from the Sector Skills Council and have been developed in consultation with the Emergency Planning Society (EPS) to guarantee delivery of professional outcomes in line with the EPS Core Competences Framework. Learners who attend our courses will be awarded EPS continuing professional development points.

Delivery is by experienced emergency planning & emergency management practitioners who are qualified tutors. Our loggist training is delivered by experienced loggists.

We also offer a wide range of courses in emergency planning and management such as training for Elected Members and all levels of incident management. Please contact us if you have a specific course you cannot see on our website.
